Trade-in available

8300A is a versatile high-end integrated amplifier from Audiolab, a powerful dual-mono design delivering 75W per channel into eight ohms.

Complementary Feedback (CFB) topology offers superior linearity and ensures excellent thermal stability, whist Active Current Drive (ACD) means current limiting is under microprocessor control, allowing this amplifier to supply high currents into complex loads, making it on a par with units that – on paper – seem bigger and more powerful.

Available in Silver or Black finishes.

Description

8300A

Completely redesigned from scratch, the Audiolab 8300A is miles ahead of what was already an industry-leading integrated amplifier.

Higher power, an additional phono stage and new styling means this amplifier is more stylish and more versatile than ever. The new, ultra-efficient circuitry and streamlined components create a listening experience which brings new definition to your favourite music.

The 8300A circuit design delivers all-new sound quality, with a deeper broader soundstage, plus greater space and separation within. Instrument and voices are better defined, their character is vividly portrayed.

Dynamic range is greater and frequency response is further extended, with greater bass definition and treble that is both crisper and sweeter. In short, it delivers an open window on the music being played, as all great Hi-Fi should, engaging the listener with natural, unforced energy that is fully reflective of the source material.

8300 Series

In their 8300 Series (comprising 8300A, 8300CD, 8300CDQ, 8300MB and 8300XP models), Audiolab have asked fundamental questions about how people enjoy the music they love and to make sure their hi-fi is as easy to use, as it is easy on the ears.

While their engineers have referenced the blueprint of the previous 8200 series, each of these new components have come under scrutiny to create a hi-fi system well ahead of what is already a leader in its field. With more efficient components, high-definition audio format technology and redefined aesthetics, the 8300 Series has raised the bar yet again.

Brand

Audiolab

Formed in the early 1980s by Philip Swift and Derek Scotland, Audiolab earned worldwide acclaim with their 8000A - an integrated stereo amplifier that became a classic ‘step-up’ from the budget models of the time. During the ensuing years, the 8000A established itself as one of the most successful British amps ever produced, and was joined by a range of electronics including CD players, pre/power amps and an FM tuner.

The brand switched hands in 1997, changing its name to TAG McLaren Audio, and was so known until 2004 when Audiolab became part of IAG and returned to its original name.
