With Formation Bar, Bowers & Wilkins have created a powerful multi-room soundbar that delivers their legendary sound quality, along with the flexibility of wireless streaming, too.

Wireless sound bars are supposed to provide a full, immersive home cinema sonic experience in a compact design. But too often they fall short, with too few speakers that are not placed at an optimum angle, mainly due to the limited shape and size.

B&W engineers have designed nine optimised drive units born from their legendary loudspeakers, optimally positioned in a sleek design to create a wider, all-inclusive soundstage. In addition, a dedicated centre channel delivers crisp, clear dialogue.

However it began in 1966 with John Bowers hand-assembling speaker systems for local clients in Worthing, West Sussex, in the back of the electrical store that he ran with his friend Roy Wilkins.
