Sony have designed the VPL-XW5000ES to be even smaller and lighter than its predecessors by developing the all-new native 4K SXRD panel and compact Wide Dynamic Range Optics. The projector is about 30% smaller in volume and about 35% lighter than the VPL-VW790ES, delivering the same high brightness.

Wide Dynamic Range Optics

The new Wide Dynamic Range Optics contribute to the compact design of the VPL-XW5000ES, with improved light control by maximising the potential of the laser light source.

The resulting higher colour volume assures naturally colourful images and stunning contrast, even at high brightness levels.
