In-Wall / Custom Install Speakers
Custom install speakers – also known as in-wall speakers or Ci speakers – are commonly passive loudspeakers that are specially designed for hidden or concealed architectural placement.
As such, Ci speakers are most commonly supplied to professional installers of listening rooms, music rooms, studios, conference spaces and home cinema rooms, as part of a bespoke client project.
Most custom install speakers are supplied without their usual cabinets and with special mounting kits. They are intended to be mounted in-wall, on-wall, or in-ceiling. Careful consideration is required concerning speaker supports, cable routing and the placement of amplification.
