Stock & Product Availability

How long before my order is ready?

We are usually able to process all orders within 1-3 business days. If we encounter delays, we will of course keep you informed. Please ensure your contact details are correct when placing your order.

Do you keep all products in stock?

We strive to keep good levels of stock at all times, however our showroom and warehouse do not have infinite capacity, and so sometimes we will need to source items from our many suppliers.

We will of course inform you of any fulfilment delays we encounter, however you are welcome to contact us to check stock before placing an order.


Certain brands maintain very limited global stock, some products are only available as special order items, and some are even manufactured to order for our customers.

The situation changes constantly with the ebb & flow of global supply, distribution, and component availability. If your order is time-sensitive, please do contact us before placing an order and we can provide the latest supply information regarding any specific product or brand.

Orders & Returns

How do I place an order?

Browse our shop for products, and add them to your basket. When complete, proceed to the checkout. You will be able to review & amend your order before payment.

Enter your billing address, and your shipping address (please note that we only ship to UK destinations – please see Collection & Shipping FAQ), choose a payment method, then click pay now.

If you have a valid Express Checkout method installed on your device (Apple Pay, Google Pay, MS Pay etc), you will be given the option to BUY NOW instead of using the normal checkout process. Please note all Express Checkout options require a compatible browser and valid payment method, otherwise the option will not be displayed.

Once your transaction has completed, you will be notified on-screen and by email, and your order will become visible in your account area.

Do I need an account to place an order?

No, although creating an account allows you to track your order and store your purchase history with Unilet.

If you do not already have an online account with us, you can create a new account as part of the checkout process.

Guest purchases are permitted, but we still require a billing address, a shipping address and contact details for every transaction. It’s simpler to just create an account.

How can I change or cancel an order?

If payment has not yet been completed, you can change the contents of your shopping basket at will.

If you wish to cancel or amend an existing order after payment has completed, please contact us and a member our team will be happy to assist you.

Do you offer trade-in or part-exchange?

Yes, certainly.

Please complete a trade-in request before placing an online order, or contact any member of our team.

How can I check the status of my order?

You can check the status of any order via the my orders page within your account area.

If you have not created an account, or are having difficulties, please contact any member of the Unilet team who will be able to check your order and advise.

How can I return a product?

Please contact us first before arranging to return any product. We will be able to advise on the best way to facilitate your return, and also arrange any refund which may become due.

Please note that in ALL cases we will require proof of purchase, and all goods must be in original condition, including packaging, unless otherwise discussed and agreed with our team. Read more about your statutory rights concerning returns & refunds.

Who should I contact if I have any queries?

Any member of the Unilet team will usually be able to assist, however if previous queries have been dealt with by a particular staff member, please feel free to ask for them by name when you contact us.


What payment methods are accepted?

Our website accepts all major electronic forms of payment, including Apple Pay, Google Pay, Microsoft Pay, all popular Credit / Debit cards, and PayPal.

In addition, if you visit our showroom you may also pay in cash, and we can arrange to receive a direct transfer from your bank account.

We can also offer trade-in or part-exchange deals as partial payment.

Can I reserve online and pay in-store?

Yes, certainly. Please choose Click & Collect as your shipping method, and Pay On Collection as your payment method during the checkout process.

We will notify you directly your order is ready for collection at our South-West London showroom, at which point you can visit, pay, and collect your goods.

Do you store my payment details?

In short, no.

All data regarding your credit card, debit card, express checkout payments (Apple Pay, Google Pay, MS Pay etc) and PayPal information is securely encrypted and passed to our payment partners at the point of verification only.

If you choose to store your payment details for future use, our system uses a standard token-and-API method to securely store your encrypted data with our verified payment partners. Your data is not stored on our website, and we have no way of accessing it.

Is buying online from Unilet safe?

Unilet Sound & Vision are one of the UK’s longest-established audio retailers. We were established in 1969, have been in business for over fifty years, and pride ourselves on personal service – you can buy online from us with confidence.

However it is always good to reacquaint yourself with some best practices when shopping online.

Shipping & Collection

What shipping methods are available?

We offer FREE UK SHIPPING on all listed products. Please enter coupon code USVFREE from within your shopping cart, or at checkout.

If you prefer, you may also Click & Collect your items. Place your order & pay online, then we will notify you as soon as your order is ready for collection from our showroom.

You can also Reserve & Collect, which allows you to pay for your order upon collection from our showroom. Please select Pay On Collection as your payment method during the checkout process.

As a true hi-fi & home cinema community, Unilet also offer Personal Delivery, Installation & Set-Up within London, Surrey and the Home Counties. Please contact us for more details of this service.

For customers outside the above catchment area, we also run a dedicated mail order business called Audio Sanctuary, which ships products across the UK and internationally.

Do you ship internationally?

No. For all international orders, please use Audio Sanctuary, our global mail order service .

When can I collect my order?

Our team will notify you by email and/or telephone as soon as your order is ready for collection. Please ensure you provide correct contact details when placing your order.

We maintain a large quantity of stock at our showroom, however some specialist items may need to be ordered on your behalf. If this is the case we will inform you directly.

Once you have been notified, please visit our showroom anytime during business hours to collect your order.

Can I visit your premises, audition products and buy in-store?

Yes indeed, Unilet Sound & Vision are a true clicks & mortar retailer, and our South-West London showroom is dedicated to the customer experience. Come visit and spend time with these great products.
