4K Ultra HD OLED
Jargon buster – 4K Ultra HD means a horizontal resolution of around 4000 pixels, which is the currently dominant standard for Ultra High Definition displays.
OLED stands for Organic Light Emitting Diode, which are like standard LED’s except the luminescent layer is a film of organic compound. Such displays work without a backlight because they emit visible light, meaning they can display deep black levels, have higher contrast ratios, be thinner and also lighter than standard LCD’s.
