BackPack 3
The Ruark Audio BackPack 3 transforms the R1 Deluxe Tabletop Radio or the MR1 Bluetooth Speaker System into completely portable products.
BackPack 3 is a simple-to-attach battery pack which frees these miniature audio marvels from the mains power socket and into the bathroom or onto the decking and the great outdoors.
Placing batteries inside each of the above units would take up valuable speaker capacity, and so resulting in unrefined sound, but BackPack 3 allows R1 and MR1 to retain their rich, mains-powered performance, but with complete portability.
A total evolution of the original, BackPack 3 attaches seamlessly to R1 or MR1. Once fitted, it can be left permanently in place, charging automatically whenever connected to a mains power supply. A full charge will provide up to twelve hours of mains free listening depending on volume.
Please note that earlier versions (BackPack 2 / BackPack 1) are not suitable for the current model R1 or MR1. Please contact us to double-check if you are unsure of which version radio or speaker system you have, or require.
