Balanced Design Parameters
Vertere Acoustics is best known for its extreme high-end designs, much loved by audiophiles worldwide.
Their Reference RG-1 Record Player and the Reference Tonearm compete on equal terms with the world’s best, and the more affordable but no less revolutionary DG-1 Dynamic Groove Record Player was launched in May 2019 at the international High End Hi-Fi show, Munich.
Touraj Moghaddam (founder and CEO of Vertere Acoustics) has now confirmed that their new Mystic Moving Coil Cartridge is available for purchase. Retailing for £2000 in the UK, it is now available for purchase from approved retailers such as Unilet Sound & Vision.
Unlike the DG-1, the Mystic MC Cartridge is not revolutionary, but rather a combination of experience, common sense, science and a little art – plus a rather lovely sapphire blue anodised finish.
By balancing all required design parameters, Vertere have delivered a cartridge that stays in the groove, retrieves the maximum musical information and is least affected by old or damaged records.
High Quality Across The Widest Range
Extremes do exist in the world of hi-fi – designers optimise one parameter to the exclusion of others – and the resulting products are often the most talked about as they are loved or detested in equal measure. But this is not the Touraj way: he doesn’t want a system that favours close-miked jazz over rock, or symphonic over punk. He wants a system that allows most records in a collection to be played and enjoyed.
In his view a hi-fi enthusiast with a small record collection just does not have the right system yet, a sentiment which we wholeheartedly endorse!
Where to buy
