The Phantom 2 loudspeaker range from Devialet is a relaunch of their previous Phantom Reactor range, now with three finishes and two power levels. Phantom 2 is the smaller sibling to the full-size Phantom 1 version, yet completely capable of room-filling, high-quality sound.

Whether you’re used to Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, optical or analog, the open architecture of Phantom 2 lets you have it your way. AirPlay, UPnP, Spotify Connect – get straight to the music you love.

The spherical design of Phantom 2 radically redefines solo speaker performance. Experience beautifully rich and unspoiled acoustics, wherever you are. The latest Devialet software update introduces Duo (stereo) to the range, creating the widest possible sound stage from ultra-compact speakers. In Duo mode, Phantom 2 delivers even more power and emotion, immersing you in your favourite music, movies and games.

The 95dB model is the entry-level version of Phantom 2. Available in Iconic White or Matte Black, your first encounter will likely be memorable. Sound this rich and clear from a speaker this compact is simply unrivalled. Phantom 2 will move you, even at low volume. Touch controls give you total command with a single stroke.

The more powerful 98dB versions share the same form factor. Compact yet immense, Phantom 2 is a feat of sound engineering, delivering unreasonable power. The only ultra-compact speaker capable of delivering high fidelity and physical impact, whatever volume you listen at.

Top of the Phantom 2 range is the 98dB Opéra de Paris model. The master gilders at Ateliers Gohard finished the gold leaf side plates following time-honoured methods. Each gold leaf is applied by hand to create a unique patina. These heritage techniques demand absolute perfection – once the leaf has been applied, it cannot be removed. Bearing the Opéra de Paris | Devialet signature, the side plates are gilded with Moon Gold, a precious and stainless palladium-yellow gold alloy.

Devialet was born in 2007 as a response to the paradox that whilst music has never been so accessible in terms of volume, the quality of the sound itself, and the way technologies manage to restitute it, remains questionable. The purity and detail that make music what it is, continues to elude us.

The company name is a reference to engineer Guillaume Vialet, a companion of Diderot and contributor to the French Encyclopedia. Vialet is widely known as one the intellectuals who, through their intellectual, cultural and scientific commitment, contributed to the betterment of the world.
