Bowers & Wilkins 707 S2 Stand-Mount Speaker

Trade-in available

The B&W 707 S2 is a bookshelf or stand-mounted speaker, blending high performance with compact style that is perfect for smaller spaces.

The two-way design makes for a sound that feels remarkably cohesive, a feat that is due to the purity of its components, which include a Continuum™ cone bass/midrange driver and a Carbon Dome tweeter.

707 Series 2

With a classic, pure and simple concept, 707 S2’s two-way design delivers sound that feels taut and remarkably cohesive. That is down to purity of components, including a Continuum™ cone bass/midrange driver and a Carbon Dome tweeter.

Carbon Dome tweeters deliver sharp details, a brand new technology purpose-built for the 700 Series. Delivering a dramatic improvement on the aluminium double dome tweeter, they raise the breakup threshold to 47kHz, for pinpoint imaging accuracy and detail.

Voices and instruments are delivered with purity and precision, thanks to the smooth, accurate Continuum™ cone bass / midrange driver.

Bowers & Wilkins

Bowers & Wilkins (B&W) is now a very large company, with distribution chains and customers all over the world. However it began in 1966 with John Bowers hand-assembling speaker systems for local clients in Worthing, West Sussex, in the back of the electrical store that he ran with his friend Roy Wilkins.

Five decades later the company is a global leader in sound, and in 2016 Bowers & Wilkins were incredibly proud to celebrate their 50th anniversary – and even more proud that the ethos, passion and drive of its founder is still a vital element in its continuing success.
