3-Way Engineering
By dedicating individual drive units to bass, midrange and treble reproduction, ELEGAN 2 allows each component to perform within its optimum operating range.
Twin 165mm woven Kevlar bass drivers provide deep, controlled low-frequency extension with exceptional composure. The dual driver system allows bass extension down to 32Hz.
A dedicated 125mm woven Kevlar midrange driver, housed within its own isolated enclosure, reproduces vocals and instruments with outstanding clarity and tonal accuracy.
The result is effortless dynamics, improved separation and a presentation that remains composed even during complex musical passages.
Revealing By Design
Great loudspeakers never sound forced. Instead, ELEGAN 2 presents music with an effortless sense of scale. Bass is powerful without becoming dominant, the midrange remains open and expressive, while high frequencies retain their detail and refinement without harshness.

Advanced Engineering
The ELEGAN 2’s acoustic performance is supported by carefully developed engineering throughout. The precision 25mm fabric dome tweeter is mounted within a profiled waveguide, optimising dispersion for consistent performance across a wide listening area.
A carefully engineered Linkwitz-Riley crossover network integrates each drive unit seamlessly, ensuring phase coherence and tonal consistency across the full frequency range.
Internally, the cabinet employs extensive bracing and resonance control to minimise unwanted vibration, while the QUAD Airflowâ„¢ bass reflex system reduces port turbulence to deliver cleaner, faster and more articulate bass reproduction.
Every engineering decision contributes towards a loudspeaker that behaves as one coherent acoustic system.
