Description
R710
As part of their 40-year anniversary, Ruark Audio introduce their most powerful system in the 100 Series range: the R710.
A seamless fusion of 70s inspired design and modern technology, the R710 combines analogue charm with digital convenience. The new system is power perfected, delivering great sound in a product that many customers will not only listen to, but admire.
Materials & Design
Quality is evident throughout, from the materials used to the soft-touch tactile controls on the console and matching Bluetooth remote, making operation intuitive and enjoyable. A large front-mounted colour display further enhances R710’s aura and displays text and artwork with crystal-clear clarity.
Ruark’s aim with R710 was to develop a more powerful and comprehensive system to complement their acclaimed R610 Music Console.
Quality Components
Powering R710 is a custom switch-mode power supply, which provides optimised feeds to the system’s motherboard and customised digital amplifiers. Diligence has been paid in the lay-out of the multi-layer PCB, keeping signal paths short and direct, with optimised grounding for low noise and EMI.
With audio-grade components throughout and with a clean power output of up to 200 watts per channel, R710 produces sound that is effortless, making all music, engaging and enjoyable.
Streaming
With its quad-core CPU, R710 handles high-res audio streams with ease and with Spotify Connect, Qobuz Connect, Tidal Connect, Apple AirPlay, Google Cast, Internet Radio and apt-X HD Bluetooth all included the ways in which music can be enjoyed are virtually limitless.
For local music libraries, R710 supports playback from both networked media servers and attached USB storage devices and for customers who want their film soundtracks to sound as good as their music, R710’s HDMI ARC/eARC connection makes viewing at home an enjoyable and immersive experience.
CD & Vinyl
For the life-long vinyl and CD fans and R710 brings a refreshed bond to these resurgant formats. With its built-in phono stage, simply connect a quality turntable and rediscover just how good this legacy format can sound. Likewise, Ruark also see that CDs are having a revival, and as the last tangible music format, believe that this situation will endure.
With pure, uncompressed audio, CDs can still offer superior sound over streaming and with R710’s integrated CD drive, customers are able to enjoy a bond to the history of recorded music, that is tactile and evocative.
The R710 has everything a serious listener needs, but Ruark have designed it for more than that – it’s for anyone who wants their home to sound extraordinary and look the part while doing it.
