The 702 Signature Floorstanding speaker from Bowers & Wilkins is finished in exclusive Datuk Gloss or Midnight Blue Metallic, and features optimised crossovers, three Aerofoil Profile bass drivers, a Continuum cone midrange and a Carbon Dome tweeter housed in a Solid Body Tweeter-on-Top enclosure.

Featuring an optimised tweeter housing milled from a solid block of aluminium, the design creates an acoustically optimised housing that is exceptionally inert and resistant to resonances.

Carbon Dome tweeters are purpose-built for the 700 Series and deliver pinpoint imaging accuracy and detailed insight in to your music.

The clean, revealing midrange drivers in 702 Signature feature a decoupled design (which reduces cabinet coloration and boosts midrange clarity) developed from the B≈W 800 Series Diamond.

The Aerofoil Profile bass cone has a unique wing-shaped form, providing stiffness and rigidity where it’s needed most. The result is utterly refined, accurate, articulate bass reproduction.

However it began in 1966 with John Bowers hand-assembling speaker systems for local clients in Worthing, West Sussex, in the back of the electrical store that he ran with his friend Roy Wilkins.
