Q50a
Optimised for all Q Series home theatre systems, Q50a Dolby Atmos-Enabled Surround Speaker from KEF Audio features the latest Uni-Q driver array and advanced technology, delivering serious dynamics and an accurate, clean soundscape.
Dolby Atmos offers the potential for full immersion cinema. The Q50a employs KEF’s signature Uni-Q technology to deliver it in full effect. Sold in pairs.
Dolby Atmos is a surround sound technology developed by Dolby Laboratories. It expands on existing surround systems by adding height channels. This allows sounds to be interpreted as three-dimensional objects, with neither horizontal nor vertical limitations. Following the release of Atmos for the mainstream cinema market, a variety of consumer technologies have been released under the Atmos brand, using in-ceiling and up-firing speakers. The KEF Q50a is one such speaker.
