Fully updated for the streaming media age, Stream IV by Leema Acoustics offers Tidal, Spotify, Qobuz, vTuner Internet Radio, Deezer, plus the ability to read data from connected USB flash drives drives and Dropbox/OneDrive accounts via the internet.

This being the fourth incarnation of Leema Acoustics’ CD player, the Stream IV adds an integrated streaming engine to a great CD transport. Combining CD and streaming in one component is clever, neatly catering for music fans with large CD collections that also want the simplicity and ever-improving quality of streaming audio.

Fully UPnP/DLNA compliant, Stream IV is able to read any networked music storage devices, and offers both wired and wireless operation with WPS integrated (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) for simple home configuration.

The Stream IV includes an advanced high-resolution 24-bit/192kHz streaming module, a Stream Unlimited CD mech and a high-quality ESS 9018 Sabre DAC which also benefits from coaxial and optical digital outputs for connection to pre-existing high-performance external DACs.

Further touches include a high-quality linear power supply. Remote control operation is available, plus stylish button-free front panel operation for CD playback.

Control for streaming and general DLNA/UPnP playback is via the free mconnect control point app, available for both Android and Apple devices.

Founded in 1998, Leema Acoustics was originally a means of further exploring the fanatical interest in audio reproduction of its two founders, ex-BBC engineers Lee Taylor and Mallory Nicholls.
