SRS-7100 System
A wonderful way to enter the world of immersive, high-fidelity audio reproduction, the SRS-7100 from STAX Audio features a premium vacuum-tube energiser paired with superb high-end electrostatic earspeakers.
System includes SRM-006tS Kimik Edition Driver unit and SR-L700MK2 Earspeakers.
STAX was founded in 1938, and in 1959 the company developed the world’s first electrostatic headphone and introduced the SR-1 in 1960. Today STAX continues their tradition by offering the finest headphones for both professional and audiophile applications.
STAX refers to all its headphones as earspeakers, because such Ultra-High Fidelity devices for reproducing music can only be compared with the best cost-no-object loudspeakers, not other headphones. The term earspeakers is therefore descriptive of STAX’s contribution to today’s most advanced level of sonic transduction.
SRM-006tS Driver Unit
The Kimik-modified SRM-006tS energiser is fitted with precisely matched, cryogenically treated 6FQ7 vacuum tubes, along with Bermuda Audio Tuning 2-ring dampers. A Synergistic Research Red audio-grade fuse is also added. After retrofitting, SRM-006tS then undergoes seven days of run-in and full adjustment, prior to customer use.

SR-L700MK2 is the new advanced Lambda series earspeaker from STAX Audio, now with detachable cable. Their first SR-Lambda series was introduced more than 36 years ago. Now further developed into a new-generation with a newly-designed enclosure.
