Description

603 S3

Room-filling scale and authority come courtesy of two bass drivers, while improved terminals and enhanced drive unit positioning make 603 S3 the most sophisticated affordable floor-standing speaker Bamp;W have ever made.

The new 603 S3 introduces the all-new Titanium Dome tweeter, which combines exceptional resolution and insight with smooth, refined high-frequency reproduction. The result? An accurate and immersive insight into your favourite music.

603 S3 also introduces the new, even more acoustically transparent tweeter grille mesh, first developed for the revered Signature models. Alongside the new Titanium Dome tweeter, the resolution and realism is exceptional.

Thanks to composite construction, the Continuum cone avoids the abrupt transitions in behaviour that can impair the performance of a conventional drive unit. With 603 S3, experience a more open, neutral performance that delivers voices and instruments with precision and transparency.

Derived from the speaker terminals recently introduced in the high-end 700 Series range, the speaker terminals on the new 603 S3 feature an improved layout and a cleaner signal path between your amplifier and your loudspeakers.

Bowers & Wilkins

Bowers & Wilkins (B&W) is now a very large company, with distribution chains and customers all over the world. However it began in 1966 with John Bowers hand-assembling speaker systems for local clients in Worthing, West Sussex, in the back of the electrical store that he ran with his friend Roy Wilkins.

Five decades later the company is a global leader in sound, and in 2016 Bowers & Wilkins were incredibly proud to celebrate their 50th anniversary – and even more proud that the ethos, passion and drive of its founder is still a vital element in its continuing success.
