Soundbars
Soundbars are a relatively recent development in home audio. They continue to grow in both popularity and complexity, alongside developments in smart televisions.
All soundbars are active-type loudspeakers, containing multiple speaker drivers and dedicated amplification. These long, slimline units are designed to be positioned very near to your screen, above or below. Some can be wall-mounted and all can placed upon a suitable media cabinet.
Because soundbars contain multiple speaker driver units – including centre speakers, side-firing speakers and vertically-firing speakers – they are able to create a very good surround-sound experience for home cinema, whilst only taking up minimal space in your living room.
