SRS-5100 System

This electrostatic earspeaker system SRS-5100 by STAX Audio provides excellent value for a complete reference-level headphone system.

System includes 1 x SRM-353X Driver / Energiser unit, plus 1 x SR-L500MK2 Earspeakers.

Electrostatic headphones (which STAX call Earspeakers) require special high-voltage amplifiers due to their design. These drivers are known as Energisers, and the two components must be carefully matched to ensure optimum performance. The two units in this system are a great match, and either can be upgraded in the future, should the need arise.

SRM-353X Driver Unit

SRM-353X is a solid state headphone amplifier / driver unit (energiser) which works with all STAX electrostatic earspeakers. Featuring an added XLR for balanced output connection, a wider frequency response, and hand-selected high-quality audio grade parts.
